A poll called “ for the purpose of making a rate for the repairs of the Parish Church and other necessary light expenses for the present year. ”The Churchwarden (Wm SHORT) demanded a rate of 2d in the pound, John MOORSHEAD put forward an amendment for it to remain at 1d. 5th 7 6th of June was appointed for the poll.
